The average temperature in Riyadh on December  ranges from a daytime high of around (22°C) to a low of (10°C). After dark, temperatures usually drop to around (9°C). Keep in mind that these are average temperatures, and actual conditions may vary slightly. It is recommended to wear light layers during the day and a jacket or sweater in the evening. December offers pleasant weather with around 8 hours of sunshine each day, making it an excellent time for sightseeing and outdoor activities.

Local currency is the Saudi Arabian Riyal (SAR). International credit cards, such as Visa, MasterCard, and American Express are all accepted in Saudi Arabia. Exchange offices and ATM machines are available throughout Saudi Arabia.

Arabia is in the Arabian Standard Time Zone, which is 3 hours forward Greenwich Mean Time (GMT+3).

Daylight Saving Time is not observed in Saudi Arabia, which maintains its 3 hours’ difference from GMT throughout the year.

Follow the same rules of safety that you follow while travelling anywhere else with respect to using hotel safe deposit boxes and keeping travel documents safe.

• When in public places, keep them in your hotel or with you all the time when moving about.
• Always carry the hotel address with you when you leave the hotel.
• Do not leave bags/mobile phones unattended.

The official language of the ONCO Congress is English.
English and Saudi Arabic are the most widely spoken languages in KSA.

During the entire meeting, attire will be informal.

You will need to consider what to pack, to ensure you can use your personal electrical appliances safely whilst abroad.

For Saudi Arabia the associated plug is type G, which is the plug that has three rectangular pins in a triangular pattern. Saudi Arabia operates on a 230V supply voltage and 60Hz.
